Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

The Science and Soul of Healing from Within

In today’s fast-paced world, emotional stress silently affects both our mind and body. While medicine treats symptoms and psychology explores thoughts, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) bridges both bringing calm, balance, and deep emotional healing.

What is EFT?

EFT, or Tapping Therapy, is a simple yet powerful self-healing tool where you gently tap on specific meridian points on your body while focusing on an emotion like stress, fear, or pain. Based on ancient Chinese medicine, it restores energy flow and sends calming signals to the brain, reducing stress and creating inner peace.

Developed by Gary Craig, EFT combines modern psychology and acupressure to release trapped emotions, reprogram thought patterns, and promote emotional freedom.

How It Works

When you recall an upsetting event, your brain’s amygdala triggers a stress response. Tapping calms this alarm system, lowers cortisol levels, and activates relaxation pathways. Studies show EFT can reduce anxiety, depression, and even physical pain — often within minutes.

The Tapping Process

1. Identify the issue and rate intensity (0–10).
2. Tap on the Karate Chop point, repeating:
Even though I feel this [emotion], I deeply and completely accept myself.
3. Continue tapping the following 9 meridian points:
Eyebrow, Side of Eye, Under Eye, Under Nose, Chin, Collarbone, Under Arm, Top of Head. After each round, reassess and feel the emotional shift.

4. Guide, Don’t Grip

Takeaway

EFT is more than a technique ,it’s a journey toward self-awareness and emotional freedom.

Breathe. Tap. Heal.
Your peace is literally at your fingertips.
